Originating in Manhattan's Little Italy, Sofia's is bringing the experience to Clifton Park. We are working hard to create a unique dining experience and building a professional team of Servers and Bussers, an integral part of the experience we want to present. The owners are adamant that the Clifton Park location will be of the same level of quality-of-service and a reflection of our Little Italy location. Therefore, we are being very selective in hiring staff. We are not interested in scheduling around other people's schedules and will hire people who can commit to a regular schedule of specific days/hours. All hires must agree to a 60 day probationary period with common sense expectations. We expect our guests to receive top-notch service and prompt attention from our floor staff. **Duties:**

- Operate POS system to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

- Handle cash transactions and provide customers with receipts.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front -of-house.

- Assist customers with menu selections and provide information about food items.

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.

**Experience:**

- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is required.

- Proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.

- Knowledge of SpotOn POS system is a plus.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Professional communication and excellent customer service skills.

- Other duties as assigned.
