Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support HR Generalists and HR Assistants in daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations, providing guidance on policies, conflict resolution, performance management, and merit increases.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a strong workforce.
- Oversee training and development programs that support employee growth.
- Manage HR documentation, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and personnel records.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
- Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives including creating plant policies that align with corporate guidelines.
- Conduct investigations related to employee concerns, policy violations, or disciplinary matters, and may be required to represent the company at hearing and investigations with corporate legal guidance.
- Conduct wage and benefit surveys within local labor market for competitive analysis.
- Support HR reporting, analytics, and compliance audits.
- May be required to perform other duties/projects as specified by manager and perform other job-related duties in area of responsibility as assigned.
- Assists with internal company communications of corporate and plant initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- 3 years of HR experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- 1 years of HR experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or corporate environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, employee relations, and compliance, particularly in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (SAP, Paycor, or similar required).
- ADP experience required.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, organization, and strong time management.
- Ability to provide written responses to employee grievances, policy inquiries, and to document meetings and investigative hearings.
- Ability to work as a team member, and perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create an environment that motivates personnel to achieve department goals while being credible and influential within the organization.
