We are seeking an OT Security Assistant to support OT security initiatives and safeguard critical infrastructure. This role involves implementing security measures, monitoring systems, and assisting in incident response to ensure the integrity and reliability of our OT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing inventory activities for both physical and virtual OT assets.
- Support user management for applications and OT systems.
- Help ensure secure configurations of OT systems and software in alignment with Group Information Security guidelines.
- Collaborate with IT and production teams to support infrastructure updates and security measures for OT environments.
- Assist in network security and log management verification for OT systems.
- Support the installation and customization of antivirus solutions on production site systems.
- Assist in implementing backup modalities and verifying data recovery strategies.
- Coordinate factory device backups (HMI, PLC, etc.) at production sites.
- Help troubleshoot networking issues in collaboration with the IT department.
- Assist in implementing physical security measures at production sites.
- Provide support in responding to cyber incidents impacting production systems.
- Aid in Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT) coordination and remediation plan implementation.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience or coursework in OT security, cybersecurity, or IT support is a plus.
- Understanding of Industrial Operational Technology (OT) security principles preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to security.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% in the first year as needed.
