Rate of Pay : $63,654.00 per annum
What you will be doing :
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
Assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followedProvides support for Front Office in the daily operationConsistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceEnsure proper staffing and scheduling of all Front Office Ambassadors, Concierge, Bellman and other front office staff in accordance to productivity guidelinesAssist with bi-weekly payrollParticipate and lead the hotel upgrade programCommunicate through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shiftTrain Front Office staff in all front office aspectsAssist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful wayAssist and follow up with any guest inconvenienceReview processes and procedures, looking for area of opportunity and putting in place improvement planWork with the Front Office Manager on action plan to increase employee engagementFollow departmental policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety policiesFlexible work schedule, including morning, evening and some overnightOther duties as assignedQualifications
Your experience and skills include :
Previous leadership experience in a similar role requiredA minimum of one year’s Front Office management experience requiredPrevious experience with a Property Management system requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredUniversity / College degree in a related discipline preferredStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible and reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAdditional Information
