What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Housekeeper - Condo position at SoFlo Domestics?
A family of 2 (couple) in North Naples is looking to hire a full-time housekeeper to care for their 3800 sq ft condo. Schedule would be 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off. Candidate must be open to traveling with the family to their Connecticut home for the summer (May/June to September). Detached guest house provided at Connecticut residence. Responsibilities include daily housekeeping, organizing and general upkeep of the home as well as light cooking.
Job Duties:
- Typical housekeeping duties. Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, organizing etc.
- Making the beds daily, straightening out the bedrooms.
- Cleaning the bathrooms, wiping countertop surfaces & mirrors, clearing trash bins, changing linens, robes and towels etc.
- Knowledge of different surfaces and their proper care (Marble, stainless steel, wood, glass etc.)
- Kitchen cleanup. Dishes, loading & unloading dishwasher. Stocking the fridge, cabinets and pantry. Clearing out expired items
- Laundry for the family. Ironing, shoe care. Organizing closets & wardrobe etc
- Light cooking to include basic meals and snacks (Smoothies, vegetables, grilled chicken/Salmon)
- All other housekeeping related duties
Requirements;
- 5 years minimum experience as a housekeeper working in a private residence
- References from previous employers
- Flexibility to travel during the summer
- Light cooking skills. Laundry skills
- Professional, discreet, organized, thorough
$35 per hour. PTO. Other benefits TBD
