Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Back of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our quick service restaurant. You will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards while providing exceptional support to fellow team members and our guest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by regularly sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.
- Assist in cash handling processes when necessary, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Buss tables as needed to maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
- Support other kitchen staff in various tasks as required, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Able to read off a Kitchen Display System (KDS)
- Able to multi-task between numerous checks
- Able to cook proteins and numerous veggie options on a grill to our spec
- Able to follow an iPad with our recipes and checklists.
- Willing to perform light prep duties
- Great knife handling skills
- Ability to stand for 7-9 hours a day in a kitchen and lifting 40 lb cases.
- Able to work independently in your position.
- Properly wash and sanitize dishes
- Any other task as needed.

Experience
