Must haves :

• Technical Debt Tracking and Framework Development
• Assist in developing and maturing the organization's technical debt framework (working with existing architect on my team)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics, processes, and reporting standards for technical debt - (working with existing architect on my team)
• Work with Business Unit IT teams to ensure they are accurately reporting and linking technologies to their applications (creating sustainable process)
• Work with Business Intelligence team to create PowerBI dashboards to report on technical debt

Cloud Resource Tagging and Mapping

Work closely with the DevOps team to understand their current deployment processes.

Enhance current tagging strategy (and drive implementation) for cloud resources in Azure that automatically links deployed resources to applications (CMDB is ServiceNow, EA tool is LeanIX).

Develop approaches to automatically map relationships between cloud deployed resources in Azure and applications to streamline technical debt identification.

Architecture Documentation and Automation

Leverage tools and processes to enable "self-documenting" solutions for architecture.

Research and implement methods for automatic discovery of deployed resources and systems.

Improve and maintain architecture documentation to ensure it is up-to-date, accurate, and actionable.

Collaboration and Communication

Act as a liaison between Enterprise Architecture, DevOps, and BU IT (application) teams to align technical debt efforts and automation initiatives.

Clearly communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong experience in technical debt management frameworks, tracking, and reporting.

Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), resource tagging strategies, and architecture patterns.

Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI / CD pipelines.

Experience with tools for automatic discovery and architecture documentation (e.g., ServiceNow, LeanIX, GitHub Enterprise, or similar).

Ability to design and implement scalable and maintainable tagging strategies and automated reporting mechanisms.

Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience in Enterprise Architecture tooling (LeanIX preferred).

Understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions.

Knowledge of application portfolio management (APM) principles.
