Front of House Team Member

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our team at our Allen Street location. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, preparing them, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Food Handler Certification is REQUIRED - if currently do not possess the certification, we request that you complete the lessons and schedule the exam within a month of employment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the establishment and offer samples / provide assistance as needed.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are noted.
• Prepare orders according to company standards standards while adhering to allergen safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness in the front-of-house area by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies as necessary.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Collaborate with Back of House staff to ensure the store is stocked with ice cream.
• Address any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

What you'll bring:

• Food Handler's Certification is REQUIRED - if you currently do not possess the certification, we request that you complete the lessons and schedule the exam within a month of employment; test will be reimbursed and a $1 raise will be granted upon passing
• Weekend Availability is a MUST
• Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar food industry role is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively both alone and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs - ice cream and ingredients can get heavy!
