As we continue to launch new hardware and software products in the North American market, this role will be pivotal in defining automation use cases that deliver client value.

The RevOps team at SoftBank Robotics is focused on making robotics commercially successful through strategic business development and customer success. We are responsible for evolving our go-to-market and customer programs to clearly communicate and deliver automation value in partnership with our customers. The team is an entrepreneurial, multi-varied group focused on use case development, enterprise growth strategy, operational excellence, and customer retention.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Customer Experience & GTM at SoftBank Robotics Americas, this role will serve as the resident expert on our customers and the robotics industry, and work closely with Product and customer-facing teams to devise, position, and launch new offerings that meet buyer needs and market demands and trends. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating under ambiguity and navigating a rapidly evolving market to determine the best path to market for new products.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Customer Research : Conduct comprehensive customer research and voice of customer analysis through direct interviews, surveys, and market research. Collaborate across teams to gather insights and build a nuanced understanding of our customers, using this data to update buyer personas, lead internal presentations, and support new-hire trainings to ensure alignment on the latest customer insights.
  • Market Intelligence : Develop market and competitive intelligence to position our products effectively within the broader ecosystem of autonomous solutions. Stay informed on industry trends, analyze competitive dynamics, and provide insights and strategic recommendations to inform our product direction and enable our teams.
  • Customer Experience : Engage with Product, Customer Success, and Growth teams to promote product adoption and engagement. Support ongoing programs like Customer Health Scoring and Success Benchmarking to validate and improve customer satisfaction, using insights to influence customer engagement strategies and prioritize Product team initiatives based on customer impact.
  • Product Positioning / Messaging. Collaborate with Product and Marketing to refine and articulate product positioning and messaging that resonate with target customers. Coordinate closely with Product Management to keep the company apprised of new platform features, and create clear, concise messaging that explains what we do and how we do it.
  • Product Launches : You will work hand-in-hand with Product and Marketing to develop and implement launch plans for new features and products that ensure feature adoption and support overall company growth. You will stay ahead of industry trends and make recommendations about gaps or opportunities you see in the market.
  • Internal Enablement : Enable customer-facing teams with compelling training and sales materials, driving internal readiness to effectively position, sell, and support our product portfolio. Act as an internal champion for SBRA's product positioning and messaging, proactively seeking ways to educate and inspire the team on the latest product and market developments.
