Job Title: Business Systems Analyst - Microsoft Platform
Job Location: San Diego, CA/Remote
Job Description: SoftClouds is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Systems Analyst with a focus on the Microsoft Platform. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and designing solutions within the Microsoft technology stack. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding business needs, and leveraging Microsoft technologies to streamline and enhance business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document detailed business requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into system specifications for Microsoft Platform solutions.
- Clearly document business requirements, UI Mock-Ups, and database scheme requirements for the applications built using Microsoft technologies such as Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Azure, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and others as required.
- Create required tasks to implement the business requirements.
- Assign the tasks to the developers based on the skills and availability.
- Customize and extend platform functionalities to meet business needs.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of Microsoft Platform applications.
- Manage data sources and ensure data integrity within Microsoft Platform solutions.
- Implement data migration strategies when necessary.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and quality of Microsoft Platform solutions.
- Collaborate with QA teams to perform thorough testing and resolve issues promptly.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for Microsoft Platform solutions, including user guides and technical documentation.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of Microsoft Platform applications.
- Stay informed about the latest updates and features within the Microsoft technology stack.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes and Microsoft Platform applications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on the Microsoft technology stack.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Azure, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience with data integration and manipulation within Microsoft Platform solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certification in relevant technologies.
- Development experience in Power Platform, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
