Detailed Job Description
We are looking for a Technology Architect who participates in the overall design and implementation of the order management system. This key member of team should understand supply chain concepts very well and be an Fluent commerce order management system expert. The lead should be able to design the various subsystems of order management and should have experience integrating with other systems for payment, warehouse management systems, tax, etc. Specific areas of focus in Fluent commerce order management include Pipeline and participant model design, inventory management, order routing, call center, payment processing and returns and exchanges.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for the End to end architecture of the solution provided.
· Serve as Fluent commerce OMS subject matter expert working with the customers to architect the 'best-fit' customer use cases for its business across multiple enterprise systems.
· Serve as a key member of the solution delivery team by facilitating in requirements/design phase, including estimation of custom development efforts, as well as advisory on sprint planning / release planning.
· Build prototypes / proof of concepts to during the design and construction phases of the project to decide potential solutions
· Designs and/or develops the asynchronous and synchronous integration process
· Alerts the solution architect of potential design issues and elevates blocker issues up for resolution
· Does code reviews of any customization and ensures completion of use cases by the development team.
· Maintains the master configuration data, CDT process and manages the UCD deployment.
Skills
§ Strong knowledge in value chain management (supply chain and demand chain) with emphasis on order fulfillment and order management.
§ Experience with application development and system architecture design; working
knowledge of Unix (HP, s, Sun, Red Hat LINUX) and Windows, C , Java, and XML
§ Experience working with product that touch Fluent Commerce Order Management’s integrations points: CRM
products, ERP products, EAI tools, merchandising systems, other WMS products, point of sale products, payment processing applications, tax calculation packages, shipping applications, etc.
§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
§ Strong knowledge of software product issues
§ Experience managing relationships with clients at the senior technical management level
§ Experience delivering enterprise solution implementations
Programming Skills
§ Experience with object oriented programming languages such as Java and C
§ Deep knowledge of Java programming and related technologies
§ Experience in XML, XML parsers, and XSL
§ Experience working with Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server databases: database sizing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
