Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing public accounting firm! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements and tax returns for our clients
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounting records, financial statements, tax returns and other financial reports
- Analyze client financial information
- Perform preparation, compilations and review engagements
- Communicate with client personnel and other professional staff
- Independently manage client engagements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting and tax return preparation
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and tax code
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools, including QuickBooks desktop and on-line
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communications skills
- 2-5 years recent public accounting experience
- CPA, EA or CPA candidate preferred
