Overview : We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software.
They will troubleshoot problems, support in-house installations, provide solutions, and ensure that all user systems are functioning optimally.
Key Responsibilities :
- Report directly to Senior IT Engineer and take daily instruction.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to our in-house staff via phone, email, or in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating system problems, application errors, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on computer systems and software.
- Document and track all support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Assist in the setup and deployment of new computers and other IT equipment.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
- Educate employees on best practices for using computer systems and software.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
