We are seeking a talented Senior Designer to join our team on-site in New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple design disciplines, including graphic design, industrial design, and packaging design, with a focus on creating impactful products and packaging that align with our brand vision.
Key Responsibilities :
Graphic Design :
Develop compelling graphics for product branding, marketing materials, and user interfaces.
Ensure cohesive brand identity across all visual assets, including digital and print mediums.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to produce visuals for product launches, tradeshows, and advertising campaigns.
Industrial Design :
Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible, user-centric, and aligned with production requirements.
Understand and integrate considerations for packaging, including palletization, inner cartons, and master cartons to optimize logistics and shipping.
Create detailed sketches, 3D renderings, and prototypes to bring concepts to life and support decision-making.
Packaging Design :
Design innovative, functional, and sustainable packaging solutions for consumer products.
Ensure packaging is optimized for production, shipping, and storage, with an understanding of supply chain logistics, pallet layouts, and carton configurations.
Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to maintain quality standards and cost efficiency.
Elevate the unboxing experience by aligning packaging with brand identity and user expectations.
Collaboration and Leadership :
Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketing professionals, to align design solutions with business and user needs.
Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in design.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
5 years of professional experience in a multidisciplinary design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product, packaging, and graphic design.
Proficiency in design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), SolidWorks, Rhino, or other 3D modeling software.
Experience in palletization, carton design, and supply chain logistics for consumer goods or smart home products is a must.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and packaging sustainability best practices.
Excellent conceptual thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with diverse teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
