Job Description :
The Product / Application Architect (modern Angular and React front-end frameworks, with NodeJS and AWS for the backend) is expected to be a hands-on technical expert, capable of directly implementing proof of concept for solutions they design for customer requirements. The candidate's insights into these customer engagements will influence future product releases. The candidate will be required to present challenges, solutions, and guidance to audiences including senior customer technical and business decision makers, executives, and internal engineering staff and leadership.
The candidate should possess strong software engineering and architectural knowledge, building cloud solutions. As a member of the engineering team, this person will help sprint teams understand and prioritize customer requirements and feedback for the implementation and improvement of product features. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and lean in with the developers.
To be successful in this challenging position, the candidate will need exceptional collaboration with cross-functional groups, strategic thinking, and inter-personal skills. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and presentation skills and can effectively interface with employees and customers at all levels. As a thought leader, this person will also need to have a deep understanding of the best practices and strategies for web application development in the AWS cloud.
A professional with proven ability to lead development and delivery of required contract software products as scheduled. We are looking for someone to take our project teams to the next level in the adoption of Agile and Scrum practices. The ideal candidate will bring previous experience, best practices, and a collaborative attitude to deliver software products for our federal clients.
Federal Requirements :
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal position of Public Trust clearance designation.
- Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.
- Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.

This role requires the hired candidate to go through public trust clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is required to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship.
Work Locat i on :
We have open-collaboration offices in Leesburg, VA, Arlington, VA, and Baltimore, MD for those who may prefer to work on-site. However, Softrams, a Tria Federal Company, is a 100% remote-first team environment and works in the eastern time zone. Standard work hours are 9am ET to 5pm ET with flexibility around start and end times based on team needs.
