Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing physical examinations, and assisting with medical procedures
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information, treatments, and responses accurately and timely
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment
Skills:
- Proficient in patient care techniques, including IV insertion, catheterization, and catheter care
- Experience in critical care settings, managing patients with complex medical conditions
- Skilled in conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical imaging results
- Knowledge of memory care principles and techniques for patients with cognitive impairments
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems for accurate documentation and recordkeeping
- Ability to provide esthetic laser treatments for cosmetic procedures (if applicable)
