GENERAL SUMMARY/OVERVIEW:
As an ARIS Technical Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing business solutions using the ARIS Platform. Your responsibilities will include customizing the ARIS environment, leveraging ARIS API for solution development, configuring ARIS Connect and ARIS Process Mining, and delivering end-to-end process transformation services.
This role combines technical expertise with consulting skills, enabling you to engage with clients across industries, uncover business challenges, and deliver scalable, impactful solutions. You will also support integration efforts with third-party applications and drive the adoption of ARIS solutions for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Development and Customization
- Develop and deliver customized solutions using ARIS API (JavaScript) to extend and enhance the platform’s functionality.
- Configure and customize ARIS Connect Portal, including role-based access, dashboards, and content sharing.
- Build and optimize ARIS Process Mining models, integrating data from ERP systems and other data sources for advanced process analytics.
- Design and implement workflows using the ARIS Process Governance Engine.
- Create custom reports, macros, queries, and semantic checks to address specific client requirements.
- Develop dashboards using ARIS Aware for process transparency and performance monitoring.
- Implement solutions integrating ARIS with third-party systems like SharePoint, SAP, and document management platforms.
2. Platform Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance
- Install, configure, and upgrade ARIS Platform components, including ARIS Process Mining and ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager.
- Manage ARIS database configurations, including user access, permissions, backups, and restorations.
- Oversee ARIS repository maintenance, such as filter/template management, database reorganization, and consolidation.
- Ensure system stability and reliability through performance, integration, and security testing.
3. Technical Support and Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for ARIS Platform implementations, addressing client queries and resolving issues.
- Monitor system performance, conduct health checks, and implement event filtering and detection mechanisms.
- Collaborate with ARIS Support (Empower) to resolve complex incidents.
4. Consulting and Business Development
- Deliver consulting engagements to help clients optimize their ARIS usage and achieve business goals.
- Assist in solution demonstrations and presentations to support business development efforts.
- Identify creative, scalable solutions to client challenges, driving process excellence and transformation.
5. Administration and Compliance
- Complete administrative tasks, such as timesheets and expense reporting, in line with company policies.
- Document technical configurations, processes, and best practices for client and internal use.
Required Skills and Competencies
ARIS Technical Expertise
- Advanced proficiency in ARIS API & JavaScript for solution development and system integrations.
- Expertise in configuring and customizing ARIS Connect Portal, including content management, role-based views, and workflow integration.
- Strong experience with ARIS Process Mining, including data integration, model development, and process analytics.
- Knowledge of ARIS Process Governance Engine for workflow design and governance configurations.
- Proficiency in ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager and ARIS Aware for dashboard development and monitoring.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, XML, and JQuery.
- Expertise in database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL) and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
- Familiarity with authentication protocols (e.g., LDAP, SSO, SAML2, SSL).
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and object-oriented programming principles.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data for actionable insights using ARIS Process Mining.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable solutions tailored to client needs.
Consulting and Communication Skills
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language for stakeholders at all levels.
Organizational and Time Management Skills
- Strong multitasking abilities, managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach to delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure.
Certifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or related fields.
- ARIS Certified Administration or equivalent certification preferred.
- Certifications in ARIS Process Mining or ARIS Risk & Compliance Manager are advantageous.
- Education & Experience
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with ARIS solutions, including API development, Connect configuration, and Process Mining.
Proven track record of delivering technical consulting services and implementing ARIS-based solutions

Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $100,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents and award agreements.
