Role Summary :

Software Equity Group (SEG) is an investment banking firm focused on sell-side M&A advisory services to the software industry. SEG is seeking an entry level analyst to join our fast growing team. The individual will benefit from SEG’s established brand within the software industry, an array of tools SEG has invested in to assist in driving successful M&A efforts and collaboration with other individuals on the deal execution team. The role offers a unique opportunity to learn about the software industry and investment banking field, while working in a fun / team oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the research, preparation, and authorship of critical deal documents, including Confidential Information Memoranda (CIM), financial models, and client presentations.
• Contacting and screening prospective strategic buyers and investors.
• Facilitate key client calls and prepare clients for buyer meetings, due diligence calls, and management presentations.
• Maintaining CRM and M&A transaction databases
• Work with senior deal team members to prepare for buyer calls, and to prepare client’s for buyer calls.
