Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Openshift Engineer for contract assignment with one of our premier Data services clients in Raleigh, NC.
This position requires onsite work on Wednesday and Thursday. The manager is also open to REMOTE candidates.
Engineering Support is looking for a skilled professional with expertise in RedHat OpenShift to join our global client's Engineering Critical Production Datacenter team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of RedHat OpenShift and virtualization technologies, along with experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Directly responsible for performing VM migrations to OpenShift through either self-generated scripts or manual techniques.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate the migration of essential engineering resources to RedHat OpenShift across various regions.
- Work with stakeholders to gather their requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
- Manage communication and schedule downtime with stakeholders to minimize impact as much as possible.
- Create and update documentation for the RedHat OpenShift migration process.
- Oversee the performance of deployed solutions, address any functional issues, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
- Offer further guidance at other engineering locations, including Bangalore, India; Wichita, Kansas; and Santa Clara, California, to ensure successful migrations.
