Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Private Credit for a full-time assignment with one of our premier investment firm clients in Chicago, IL. This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site work three times per week. Role Overview : This position is part of the Private Credit Technology team within the Investments Technology organization. The team supports the bank loans, CLO, and distressed credit / direct lending investment teams, along with their associated compliance and operations functions. Responsibilities : ct as a key liaison between Private Credit business teams and technology teams, ensuring systems and processes align with investment and operational needs. Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Private Credit investments, ensuring alignment with business goals. Collaborate with developers, architects, and external vendors to translate business needs into system enhancements (without requiring hands-on development skills). Support the Private Credit (80%) and Money Market and Global Equity (20%) teams by identifying process improvements and technology solutions. Facilitate testing, training, and deployment of system changes to ensure successful adoption by business users. Provide ongoing support for Private Credit technology systems, troubleshooting issues and recommending optimizations. Work closely with external product vendors and system integrators, ensuring system functionality meets business needs. Required Skills : Strong experience in Private Credit, including bank loans, CLOs, direct lending, or distressed credit. Familiarity with private credit investment workflows, compliance requirements, and operational processes. Experience with IT business analysis, documenting requirements, and defining system specifications (no development skills required). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective technology solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
