Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr. Project Manager (Products) for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in New York, NY .
Responsibilities :
- Preparing concise Markets activity / progress reports adjusted to the audience
- Providing check and challenge on activity / progress reports by other functions
- Utilizing best practice PMO methodology (e.g., maintain plans, risk and issues, etc) that fit stakeholders needs
- Driving end results of the project as a representative of Markets
- Facilitating remediation-related engagement with the Markets product lines
- Proactively tracking project progress against goals
- Possess the knowledge, skills and experience to be able to recognize when problems surface or potential problems are looming
- Clearly articulating problems, bringing the right people together to solve problems and knowing when it has been properly addressed and closed
- Promotes partner involvement through effectively communicating project status across a varied set of stakeholders
- Defining, teaching, and enforcing the use of good project management practices (i.e., resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored and controlled)
