Biospecimen Associate II

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Biospecimen Associate II for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Pharmaceutical clients in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for collecting inclusion and exclusion criteria for projects.
• Manage and facilitate conversations between external vendors, project team and pathologist
• Create and manage purchase orders for external purchases.
• Search internal database for inventory internally appropriate for the project needs.
• Manage Procurement and QA expectations
  
  

Required Skills:

• Experience with oncology terminology
• Experience with Human Anatomy
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent organizational skills
• Associate's degree in a biological discipline or a related field and 3 years of relevant work experience OR Bachelor's degree in biological discipline or related field
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Biological sample procurement experience with FFPE material.
