Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Engineering Program Manager for a Contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities :
- Planning, Scheduling, and Execution: Create and update project plans and timelines, manage execution, ensure alignment on milestones, identify and manage dependencies, and mitigate risks
- Coordination and Communication: Provide clear, concise, and regular updates to leadership, stakeholders, and team members, facilitate cross-functional team meetings, and act as a liaison among contributing teams.
- Resource Management: Identify resource needs, allocate resources effectively, support resourcing requests, and manage conflicts or issues related to resource allocation
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and appropriately stored, create and distribute regular progress reports highlighting key achievements, risks, and next steps.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks proactively, develop mitigation strategies, maintain a risk register, and ensure effective risk communication and management
- Strong organization and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously, especially when priorities shift rapidly.
- Ability to recognize ambiguity and align on a decision making framework, drive conversations to bring clarity and enable decisions to be made in a timely manner
- Ability to build strong positive relationships crossing org boundaries and leveraging those relationships to exert influence for a positive outcome. Skills: persuasion, empathy, persistence and adaptability.
- Ability to create or enhance frameworks, standards, processes as needed to help teams execute effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to simplify processes as needed is a key skill.
- Ability to understand facts and aid in unbiased, informed decision making. Understanding the bigger context and presenting the data to various levels of the organization.
- Keywords:
- Education: Relevant Bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in a related field or equivalent.
