Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an IT Contracts Analyst (Telecom) for a contract assignment with one of our premier hospitality clients in Orlando, FL.
Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Job Summary
The IT Contract Analyst is responsible for overseeing the coordination, review, revisions, negotiations, and drafting of contractual agreements involved in the procurement of technology-related goods and services for telecommunications, which may include hardware, software, and consulting services. The IT Contract Analyst also provides support for other professional services contracts, as needed, including human resources and benefits related contracts, online subscription agreements and financial data services agreements.
Contractual agreements will consist of non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, purchasing and/or licensing agreements, services agreements, order forms, schedules/statements of work and contract amendments, among others.
The position will report to the Director of IT Contracts and will work closely with other members of the IT department. Will engage with external vendors including telecommunication vendors, as well as internal departments such as Sourcing, Finance, Risk, Legal and others, as required to complete agreements and to ensure that such agreements comply with company policies and procedures.
Must demonstrate superior knowledge of commercial and legal terms in IT and telecommunication contracts, as well as a proficiency in drafting and reviewing contractual agreements. The IT Contract Analyst will need to maintain a database that tracks the status of IT contracts and will need to ensure the maintenance of accurate, thorough contract records. Additionally, the IT Contract Analyst will help facilitate efficient interdepartmental communications related to assigned areas and will conduct training of various personnel with respect to company policies, procedures, and contract templates. The IT Contract Analyst also will need to undertake such other administrative and analytical duties as may be required from time to time.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Act as central business unit liaison with IT Legal to facilitate the contracting process with a
focus on telecommunications. 15% Coordinate the interaction between business stakeholders and vendor services. 15% Drafting and reviewing of Master Services Agreements, Schedules/Statements of Work
(SOW) for telecommunications including consulting service projects, software, hardware, hosting, and ASP/SaaS services. Review contact terms 30%
and conditions ensuring compliance of company policies. Assist business stakeholders in negotiation of business terms. Assist in administration of existing agreements, including validation of proper insurance certificates, IT security documents and other contractual requirements. Prepare final documents for execution; obtain fully executed agreements; and upload of executed agreements into the contract repository. 20% Serve as the final checkpoint for documents prior to their execution which will include confirming the financial information to the Purchase Requisition (PR) before submission. 5% Maintain the database for contacting status and locations. Maintain an organized library of executed contracts according to document retention policies. 5% Assist IT Contracts Director to ensure all contracts meet IT, Travel Leisure standard minimum requirements and as required. 10%

Minimum Requirements And Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of telecommunications, contract negotiation, and management experience, including a minimum of 3 years' experience with other IT-related agreements.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Paralegal or other graduate degree is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications services, including voice and data landlines, cloud, and wireless services.
- Strong to Excellent contract drafting and negotiating skills.
- Strong understanding of IT contracting processes.
- Strong understanding of IT concepts and ability to articulate them into simple, understandable terms.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial analyses.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word "Track Changes” tool.
- Some technical knowledge of IT products and services.
- Medium to High level of decision making including on complex verbiage of contracts.
- High level of autonomy on personal schedule and accepted verbiage on contracts.
- Medium to High level of impact. This could result in penalties or incremental charges as a result of incorrectly written contract.
- No direct reports.
- IT Contracts processes between 500 – 800 contracts per year with a value of $125M - $175M.
