Network Engineer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Network Engineer for a contract assignment with one of our premier Utility Services clients in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of Energy Supply's compliance program for Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Florida Reliability Coordinating Council.
• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points across Power Plants, Solar Fields, and Control Centers.
• Replace routers and switches at client sites
• Install and configure server and network-related hardware/ software
• Planning, Operation, Maintenance, and support of the firm's network infrastructure including router/switches, LAN/WAN, and site-to-site VPNs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless installation and configuration of server and storage infrastructure.
• Provide Networking information to the security team for projects utilizing SolarWinds
• Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve server, network, DDoS protection, and NetScaler load balancer issues.
