Responsibilities :
- Improve the existing Agile processes and help change behaviors across cross-functional team leads to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the whole team.
- Coaching techniques for effective product backlog management and leads the team to understand the need for clear and concise backlog items
- Contributes to the development of release plans with data and insight and leads the team to develop quicker service delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity
- Leads and coaches the teams they support in their Agile adoption, including planning Agile implementations within the organization and leading change that increase the productivity of the team
- Leads the team to make measurable, continuous improvement and coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Removes impediments to the team's progress and manages cross team dependencies, including working with peers to resolve cross-team impediments
- Facilitates Agile events and provides transparency to team process and progress, including measuring and diagnosing team performance
- Trusted representative of Team members and leaders, viewed as a strategic partner in the delivery of high-quality, high-value products that contribute to the success of our technology initiatives while creating an environment which embraces Agile Values and Principles
- Leads in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices, operationalizing the plan, build, delivery process, to increase the effectiveness of the application of Agile in the organization
- Makes recommendations to set the strategic direction for planning and tracking artifacts and tools, and in establishing and maintaining team metrics which provide a comprehensive view of team health, and encourage continuous improvement
- Perform project risk assessments and critical path analyses to ensure team deliverables are being appropriately tracked and met. Work with Engineering directors to identify and potentially escalate project risks and issues to ensure effective resolution in a timely manner.
- Define a framework to define, capture and track metrics for portfolio health and performance, working with individual project and engineering managers as applicable
- Construct and maintain cross-functional integrated project plans including project timelines
- Evaluate the impact of project activities across the portfolio and where there may be points of synergy or conflict
- Regularly reviews and evaluates opportunities to improve the agile best practices in order to achieve higher maturity including soliciting feedback from teams
- Establish end-to-end processes that focus on creating customer and business outcomes, and measuring their impact
- Conducts initiative reviews to ensure consistency and performance.
- Have 10 years of experience managing complex, technology cross functional initiatives across portfolios in agile environments
- Be highly competent in portfolio program management, agile methodologies, project management, and business relationship management.
- Proficient in using Jira and Confluence, and willing and able to learn jql
- Have practical experience in leading and successfully delivering large projects and leading Agile teams
- Having experience in setting up and improving Agile processes
- Have shown successful leadership of teams to deliver on goals.
