Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Information Security Analyst - Identity Access Management Governance for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Healthcare Services clients. This position is fully remote.
Individual will be part of the Identity Access Management Identity Governance team supporting IAM Governance projects and initiatives. The individual will focus on assurance to Security requirements and best practices and working with the larger business to reduce risk to the organization. This may include planning, executing, and managing multi-faceted projects related to risk management, hygiene, mitigation and response, compliance, control assurance, and user awareness. The induvial will be able to provide expertise and assistance to ensure the company's infrastructure and information assets are protected.

Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development of processes and procedures for the Information Security IAM Governance program, including control document reviews, participant assessment preparation, meeting coordination, assessment finding mediation, assisting control owner with remediation plan development, tracking findings through remediation, progress monitoring, reporting and escalation
- Analyzes business processes and business requirements to determine conformance to security policies
- Follows up on deficiencies identified in monitoring reviews, self-assessments, automated assessments, and internal and external audits to ensure that appropriate remediation measures have been taken
- Assist with policy, Control Standard, and Control Procedure updates as needed
- Working on 1 or multiple security hygiene related projects as needed, and full project life-cycle is completed timely and accurately. Collaboration with other teams or resources likely required
- Performs security monitoring and reporting, analyzes security alerts and escalates security alerts to local support teams
- Identifies and resolves root causes of security-related problems
- Works with teams to resolve issues that are uncovered by various internal and third party monitoring tools
- Supports service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that security controls are developed, managed and maintained
- Control testing
- Develops security solutions for medium to complex assignments
- Provides security-related guidance on business processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Experience in IAM Access Control, IAM Governance, or Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel working knowledge
- Knowledge of security areas such as least privilege, Privilege access Management, Service Account Management, Access Reviews, Password Management, etc.
- Knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across computer platforms
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate both written and orally to all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines
- Demonstrated understanding of at least 1 of the following standards such as ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, ITIL, NIST and PCI
- Preferred requirement : security related certification(s) (i.e. CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, etc)
