IT Program Manager

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an IT Program Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in lower Manhattan. Hybrid schedule 3x weekly on-site

Responsibilities :

• Manage IT projects related to collaborative services, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Develop and maintain project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Provide progress updates to Product Owners and group management.
• Identify potential risks and work with the project team on mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Facilitate discussions, decision making and conflict resolution.
• Maintain documentation related to project management processes and deliverables.

Required Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Management, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years working experience in Project Management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Working experience in various project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Jira, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills.
• Superb follow-through; propensity to approach tasks and goals with an ownership mentality
• Pro-active problem-solver

Preferred Skills :

• Project management experience within IT collaborative services.
• Understanding of security tools relevant to collaboration platforms.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
