Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Product Owner for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Insurance Services clients in Hartford, CT .
Seeking an Agile Product Owner to help manage the AB Testing and Digital Optimization program. This individual will partner cross-organizationally with other Product Owners and Testing Leads on the experimentation platform to support their A/B/n testing and Always-On experimentation at scale. This work is enterprise-wide and requires an individual to become familiar with multiple platforms as well as work with many different teams.
In order to be successful, the individual needs to have a high level of self-motivation, be detail-oriented, have curiosity, and strong ownership. Be able to work with both Business and IT to translate requirements and details to both sides. This person needs to be able to think outside the box to help with issues that need creative solutions. Have a passion for customer experience and bias for data-driven insights to guide decisions and actions. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and a clear preference for working collaboratively in a team environment are essential. This needs a high performing individual contributor who is able to balance multiple responsibilities and priorities.

Responsibilities :
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert and point of contact on AB testing tools and workflows, providing consultative support to areas at various stages of testing maturity.
- Oversee and manage day-to-day testing lifecycle with Product Owners, and ensure roadblocks get resolved quickly. Ensure appropriate communication with stakeholders.
- Manage the prioritization of pipeline - getting work in ready state (~2-3 months)
- Support the IT team building the experiments by leading daily stand-ups and answering questions while helping them think of solutions - provide direction or seek out the answers
- Manage the record-keeping and documentation to support the on-going program maintenance
- Drive the backlog and collaborate with Product Owners to help identify testing goals that align with their product vision and epics (support but not own). Partner with these areas to build the "know how" of using web analytics and customer insights to develop testing backlogs
- Prioritize and coordinate tests requiring vendor professional services or internal program development resources to build if needed.
- Help with the continuous improvement of platform capabilities to support experimentation. This includes soliciting feedback from stakeholders on challenges interfering with the flow of test builds, and seeking existing best practices, process adjustments or new technical capabilities to minimize gaps
- Minimum 2 years of experience in product ownership, digital, marketing, technology, or related field.
- Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to handle multiple high-priority demands, manage expectations and achieve objectives.
- Strong individual contributor who can work in a team environment and navigate effectively with different teams in achieving goals.
- Ability to clearly articulate business requirements/user stories and translate business needs into IT requirements
