Responsibilities :
- Seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our lab, specializing in library preparation and automated workflows using the Hamilton Vantage robot.
- Role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology while working in a dynamic genomics research environment.
- Perform library preparation for NGS, with a strong focus on high-throughput sample processing.
- Operate and optimize automated library prep workflows on the Hamilton Vantage robot.
- Conduct in-process quality control (QC) checks to ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and improve automation protocols for efficiency and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support large-scale genomics applications.
- B Sc in Biology or related field with hands-on research experience (academic or industry).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional work ethic and motivation to make substantial contributions to projects aimed to change patient's therapies and lives for better.
- Prior experience with NGS library preparation and/or automated liquid handling systems is highly desirable.
- B.Sc. degree in Biology or related discipline with academic or industry hands-on research experience is desired. Knowledge or skills in NGS technology is not required, however, valuable.
