Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Scrum Master/Kanban Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities :
- Manage 2-3 Scrum / Kanban teams that span one or more functional departments
- Provide team leadership by building and motivating team members to meet sprint/project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and milestones
- Drive agile maturity of the team in accordance with the agile adoption strategy of the company
- Proactively manage and remove impediments and risks to ensure the teams can focus on delivering incremental business value, while working to establish the team's baseline velocity, sprint or iteration cadence, and release plans
- Identify and actively manage risk according to impact and probability, escalating when necessary
- Manage all aspects of multiple related tasks to ensure the overall program/project alignment and strategic objective support
- Develop and report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
- Manage the day-to-day activities and resources and facilitate team meetings
- Lead on-going execution / delivery efforts for infrastructure initiatives
- Actively assess and mitigate risks and issues
- Develop and maintain all project documentation required for successful delivery of the project and for records retention purposes in accordance with organizational policies
- Infrastructure experience is required for this role
- Bachelor of Science (B.S) Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or MIS, or equivalent experience
- Agile/Scrum experience managing infrastructure teams
- Broad-based Agile / Scrum Master / Kanban expertise
- Proven influencing, coaching, and relationship capabilities
- Applied project leadership experience
- Strong analytical and communications skills (Note: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are a baseline expectation for this role)
- The ability to structure and organize complex data and execution efforts
- A core focus on providing great service across our stakeholder groups
- A foundational orientation towards servant-leadership oriented change management
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
