Responsibilities:
- Support a Systems Replacement project with the Securities Lending area of the bank
Required Skills:
- Project management experience in the securities lending business and other securities financing transactions ?
- Project management experience in migrating securities lending transaction processing systems including: ?
- K nowledge of the front-to-back securities lending IT flows that will be needed to craft vendor questionnaires, including ?
- Front office processes: ?
- Transaction entry ?
- Securities lending order management ?
- Inventory management - deep knowledge of stock record systems (BPS, Gloss, etc.) ?
- Book optimization ?
- Settlement processes ?
- Corporate action processes ?
- Collateral management processes ?
- cash and non-cash exposure management - including experience with Equilend, Pirum, triparty agents, etc. ?
- Finance/product control processes ?
- Interest accrual processing ?
- Ledger posting models ?
- Balance sheet and other accounting treatment - IFRS, US GAAP treatment, etc. ?
- Market, liquidity, and counterparty risk processes ?
- Agency lender disclosure of principal ?
- Regulatory reporting processes ?
- SFTR ?
- 10c-1a ?
- Front office processes: ?
- Understanding of non-functional requirements of securities lending systems (volume levels, SLAs, etc.) ?
- Experience in IT vendor management in this domain, including: ?
- Experience working with TPRM teams and understanding the control function reviews required under a TPRM process ?
- Experience in running vendor RFPs ?
- Experience in facilitating working groups spanning many stakeholders. Skill/experience would include: ?
- U nderstanding of the structure of securities lending front office and all support organizations in a major sell-side bank setting ?
- Extensive experience with negotiating scope across multiple stakeholder groups and leading by influence ?
- Ability to minute working groups in a concise yet comprehensive manner ?
