Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr. Analyst - Product Research for a remote opportunity with one of our premier insurance clients.
We are looking for a Sr Analyst, Product Research to join the Small Commercial Line of Business Management team.
The Small Commercial Line of Business Management team plays a pivotal role in driving and enabling success across our organization. Some of our key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining market leading products, capabilities, and product-related experiences.
Developing, evolving, and driving our line of business strategy for core lines of business.
Partnering with key P&L leaders across the organization to execute on strategy initiatives and guide countrywide P&L.
This role is within the Contract Strategy & Design group and supports the following lines of business: Businessowners, Crime, Farm, General Liability, Inland Marine, Package, Property and Umbrella.
In this role you will:
Innovate and collaborate with other teams to design and develop policy/contract language for new products
Analyze information from various resources to develop contract recommendations that will be a core part in our new Small Commercial Business Owners Product
Complete competitive research and analysis to inform contract recommendations
Manage multiple Business Lines forms for this large project
Independently drive revisions with a focus on quality and customer centricity
Assess compliance for forms
Collaborate with Product Strategy, Underwriting, Pricing, Legal, Claims, Technology teams to develop content design
Own communication of recommendations/changes to impacted stakeholders
Collaborate with Product Filings team to achieve approval of filings from regulatory authorities
Take a proactive role in identifying process improvement initiatives
Promote cross-departmental collaboration in order to meet business goals

Qualifications
Prior experience with interpreting and applying insurance policy contracts.
Project Management experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills; effective team building skills.
Prior experience in Claims, Underwriting, and/or Compliance in Insurance or Financial Services industry (at least 3-5 years).
Bachelor's degree in English, Business, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.
Juris Doctor degree or paralegal experience is beneficial.
Proficient in Adobe, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to story board and present business problems, business cases, and solutions.
