Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive staff, staff, team members, management, and external organizations, including vendors, to gather and support complex IT projects.
- Define project objectives and scope by reviewing proposals to determine timelines, budgets, procedures, and phases for IT projects.
- Understand IT’s systems and capabilities while possessing expertise in the business unit(s) they support will be key to the success of this role.
- Work with technical teams and business stakeholders to develop deliverables suited for audiences with varying technical expertise.
- Identify and assess project risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Point of Contact (POC) for managing and enhancing processes related to the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Develop, implement, and manage a process for tracking all IT initiatives and projects, ensuring regular reporting and efficient resource utilization.
- Prepare status reports and provide updates to stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify necessary activities, and ensure that deliverables, milestones, and tasks are completed on schedule.
- Attend or lead staff meetings and integrate with the team, gaining familiarity with overall operations and project initiatives.
- Use Microsoft Office, Atlassian Suite, SharePoint, Salesforce, and other tools to document, track, and report on IT project efforts.
- Lead projects from initiation through to completion, adhering to the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework.

Program Experience:
Current experience with Medicaid, Social Services, or similar public benefit programs is strongly desired and will be given the highest weight. Experience should include well documented success with IT implementation projects.
Technical Knowledge:
Experience with documentation and artifacts related to any or all the following technologies would be considered desirable for this position:
- Health Information Technologies
- Project Management software (e.g., MS Project)

· Experience with Medicaid, healthcare and all healthcare related requirements
· Prior experience in working with Microsoft products
Required Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of related work experience
Preferred Education/Certifications:
Any IT certifications a plus
PMP Certification is a plus
