Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide daily care and management of assigned in-patient and PHP settings.
Conduct patient rounding and manage admissions efficiently.
Engage actively in treatment team meetings and discussions.
Develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
Assist in the development of program philosophies, goals, and objectives that are consistent with those of the administration.
Minimum Position Qualifications :
MD or DO degree required.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Valid state medical license, or willingness to obtain licensure in Iowa.
Experience in a psychiatric setting, handling in-patient or outpatient care.
Proven commitment to providing high-quality, empathetic care to patients.
Knowledge of modern psychiatric methods and ethical standards in patient care.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience managing a diverse patient demographic including adolescents and adults.
Familiarity with PHP settings and the unique demands of such environments.
Leadership experience or qualities beneficial for team growth and mentorship roles.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff and patient families.
