We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to join our healthcare team in Santa Monica, CA. Salary : $165,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead the nursing staff in delivering excellent care to patients and offering quality support to the medical staff.
- Ensure that the operational procedures in the operating room comply with hospital policies and standards of nursing practices.
- Coordinate and delegate responsibilities to staff to ensure proper patient care, efficiency and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of supplies in the operating room; spearhead equipment procurements and maintenance.
- Maintain nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and collaborating with the nursing and hospital management teams.
- Prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, and ensure the department operates within allocated funds.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
