Senior Software Engineer (Back-End Scala)

Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer with a major corporation in Seattle, WA. On-site 2-4 days per week.

• This is not A Data Engineer. This is a back-end expert Scala developer.
• Must have expert experience with Library Development.

This role is supporting an acting as a shared service supporting Streaming development teams. This is a back end senior software engineer working on an on-going project, developing and enhancing API registry initiative, which allows product development teams to register their services in a centralized registry taking a contract first approach

This role is in the API Registry team, part of the Engineering Services organization.

Engineering Services designs, builds, and sustains technology that powers DE&E Technology's worldwide content production and distribution platforms. In doing so, they contribute to a series of cross-functional services and technologies, including Quality Assurance, Data Analytics, Software Development, Broadcast Infrastructure, and Networking & Security.

The API Registry team's mission is to enable all software teams to take a contract first approach to development. This is an approach to API design and maintenance that solves the common problem of specifications and implementations drifting over time, and it does so while reducing levels of boilerplate code across the board and increasing joy.
