Customer Permit Technician II

About the Role:
We are seeking a Customer Permit Technician II to support permit management and data integrity processes for a leading utility company. This role involves working closely with permitting agencies, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure accurate permit tracking, compliance, and efficient process management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for permitting agencies and inspectors.
- Maintain and update permit records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and improve permit management procedures and processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with permitting agencies to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
- Respond to agency and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Support business process exception management, permit searches, and customer account updates.
- Provide insights on process improvements and system enhancements.
- Assist in permit-related training and education for internal teams.
- Evaluate and adhere to all applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in permitting, data integrity, or utility operations.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze and communicate complex information effectively.
- Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
