Job Overview:
We are seeking a Computer Specialist to provide hands-on technical support, installation, repair, and troubleshooting across multiple locations. This role involves working with computers, laptops, servers, and peripheral devices to ensure seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Active Directory, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with IT teams and end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, repair, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices
- Provide technical support for users, addressing IT-related issues efficiently
- Work with Active Directory for user management and access control (preferred)
- Utilize documentation and online resources to quickly learn and apply new technologies
- Maintain excellent communication with internal and external IT teams
- Travel between designated locations as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment when needed
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Must be able to take and relay messages effectively via phone and/or two-way radio
