Job Description:
Role Overview
- The Project Manager will work directly with the Integrated Marketing team on key account assignments.
- Play a pivotal role in leading the internal day-to-day operations and project management of marketing deliverables across Enterprise Integrated Marketing (EIM) from inception to completion.
- EIM supports Enterprise, Business Insurance, and Personal Insurance Marketing.
- Project managers ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the quality standards established and upheld by the EIM team.
- Work in an integrated fashion across multiple teams within Enterprise Integrated Marketing.
- Strong ability to multitask, as the individual will need to drive multiple large initiatives forward at the same time.
- Core responsibilities include creating detailed project plans and timelines, tracking production, securing reviews and approvals from key stakeholders, and ensuring all marketing assets are delivered on time and on budget.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing development is required. Print and Video production project management experience is also strongly desired.
Essential Functions
- Manages day-to-day execution of integrated marketing campaign projects for all channels including the web, e-mail, banners, print, video, etc.
- Responsible for the development and oversight of project plans that include timelines and budget parameters.
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines for each integrated campaign.
- Communicating regularly with Planning and Execution leads to keeping them informed on status of all projects.
- Maintain continuous contact with key stakeholders and provide overall project alignment.
- Identifies potential roadblocks and alerts Planners for immediate resolution.
- Support the progress of marketing activities from initiation through delivery.
- Keep team members accountable for assigned tasks and ensure marketing projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Effectively coordinates resources, schedules, and project deliverables while ensuring the cross-functional team is aligned.
- Map out the tasks, timelines, resources, and deliverables needed to execute key strategies, programs, and campaigns.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee a wide variety of tasks with cross-functional teams ensuring all targets and requirements are met and completed on schedule and within budget.
- Proactively develop, implement, monitor, and socialize new and/or existing processes that improve cross-functional alignment, effectiveness, and decision-making.
- Establish and communicate project strategy, deliverables, and priorities to cross-functional stakeholders (internal, external, and global) to gain their support and required resources.
- Develop and execute an efficient internal communication strategy ensuring all teams are aligned and informed while maintaining understanding, advocacy, and education of internal processes.
Additional Background Desired
- Proven track record working with multiple clients on marketing campaigns and creative development.
- Intermediate understanding of full project lifecycle across a variety of project types.
- Comfortable leading teams through a project's lifecycle.
- Understands foundational PMO skills, standards, and methodologies.
- Experience creating project timelines and estimates to match a scope of work and/or project brief.
- Intermediate understanding and application of scope and change management.
- Intermediate understanding and application of risk identification, communication, and mitigation.
- Proven ability to build strong internal team/client relationships and be a team player.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and digital advertising platforms, including email marketing.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3-5 years in Project Management of marketing deliverables with 2 years in Advertising or Marketing.
- Strong project management skills and working knowledge of project management tools.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- CSM (Scrum Certification Preferred).
- Experience running projects waterfall and agile-like methodologies in an advertising setting.
- Experience with timeline management for deliverables like: Video production, Print, Email, Web, Digital, etc.
- Strong experience using project management tools is a must. Workfront is a preferred platform.
