Job Description :
Under the general supervision of IT Implementations supervisor and / or team lead, the incumbent is responsible for assisting in the overall facilities project deployment and support.
Under minimal direction, the incumbent is responsible to organize, palletize, deliver desktop hardware for small to medium implementation projects and assist with tasks like staging, unboxing, delivering, loading, unloading, preliminary setup of workstation, and removing trash as needed.
This includes but is not limited to, Facilities Implementations Group project, new facilities client infrastructure deployment, assisting with project tasks, moves, and relocation. This position will work extra hours and weekends depending on projects and schedules.
Key Responsibilities :
Follow the guidance and instructions from the team lead or other supervisors or managers to complete the project and associated tasks within the scheduled guidelines.
Organize, stage, and gather equipment for deployment and implementation related to the 48X project.
Organize and palletize equipment for delivery to site.
Assist with unboxing of equipment and disposing of cardboard and trash.
Load and unload hardware from the warehouse and transport to the warehouse or other location for configuration; and then to the site for deployment.
Pull and push equipment on a hand truck to the designated location.
Attach monitors to monitor arms.
Installation, configure, tag and document installation of printers.
Be able to lift items up to 50 lbs.
Cable management of workstations (example will be provided by Client leads).
Basic understanding of computers and printers.
Be able to have effective communication both verbally and in writing.
3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership in this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.
