Onsite Requirements:

• Experience managing cybersecurity and/or infrastructure projects
• Prior experience in higher education
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Job Description:

• A seasoned senior project manager with 7 years of solid project management experience for UCOP IT projects spanning multiple systems & technologies including infrastructure, Security, and Oracle Financials.
• The ideal candidate must have demonstrable skills delivering projects in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
  

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (IT, IS, Computer Science, etc.).

Experience:

• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management.

Skills and Abilities:

• Required Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum).
  • Highly advanced skills associated with end-to-end PMLC for programs/projects of large-scale scope.
  • Demonstrated project leadership, reporting, and management skills.
  • Demonstrated effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present/communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
  • Self-motivated and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to deliver projects timely within budget and defined scope.
  • Demonstrated complex problem-solving skills with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • CSM certification.
