Supplier Relations Program Manager/Supplier Performance Management Lead

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Duration: 6 months ( extensions/conversion)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-5 days in office, varying weekly)

Compensation: $52.87 per hour

We are seeking two Supplier Relations Program Managers/Supplier Performance Management Leads to oversee the delivery of the enterprise Supplier Performance Management (SPM) program. In this role, you will collaborate with Supplier Relations Managers (SRMs), Supplier Initiative Managers (SIMs), and various risk management teams to ensure supplier performance metrics are aligned with the organization's objectives and regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in governance, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly skilled professional with at least 5 years of experience in supplier performance management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration. They should possess strong analytical and communication skills, with expertise in supplier relations, CLM tools (especially ContractPodAI), and a proven ability to lead governance programs and present to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the governance of the Supplier Performance Management (SPM) program across the enterprise.

Partner with internal stakeholders and risk management teams to ensure supplier performance metrics are collected, analyzed, and reported.

Develop and maintain procedures for supplier management to ensure regulatory compliance.

Manage supplier performance scorecards, operational documentation, and corporate board reporting.

Work closely with managed service providers and suppliers to address performance gaps and improve risk management.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to deliver a consistent approach to supplier performance management.

Coordinate supplier business review meetings, track issues, and support performance improvement initiatives.

Prepare communications, training materials, and content for Supplier Relationship Managers.

Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to influence decision-making and present to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or 4 years of equivalent experience.

5 years of experience managing suppliers or third-party service providers.

Strong analytical skills with 5 years of experience working with metrics.

Proven experience in cross-team communication and collaboration.

Strong process improvement and continuous improvement skills.

Experience presenting to senior management.

Experience with CLM tools, particularly ContractPodAI.

Experience with Archer is a plus.
