Job Description:
- Will be doing a lot of PC and monitor replacements and new building setups.
- We are seeking a skilled Desktop/Hardware Deployment Specialist to assist with hardware setup and deployment tasks across various clinic locations.
- The current project will be setting up 200 PCs during the day then evening work to install the PCs in the clinic location after normal business hours.
- This role requires someone who is detail-oriented and capable of performing tasks independently, as well as collaborating with teams.
- The position involves a variety of responsibilities, including assembling and installing hardware, computer imaging, asset tagging, and managing on-site computer exchanges.
- Flexibility in working both day and evening shifts is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unbox and assemble hardware such as barcode scanners, carts, and related equipment.
- Tag and document hardware assets to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Image computers and prepare them for deployment.
- Perform on-site computer exchange services, including setting up new computers in clinic areas (may require evening work).
- Manage and organize cables for optimal workspace setup.
- Collaborate with IT teams and clinic staff to ensure efficient and effective hardware deployment.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with hardware assembly and deployment.
- Knowledge of computer imaging processes.
- Strong attention to detail in asset tagging and documentation.
- Basic understanding of cable management and hardware setup.
- Flexibility in work hours, with the ability to work evening shifts.
