Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Interact directly with investment professionals at all levels of the organization as a trusted advisor.
- Respond to functional, data, and technical questions related to our trade lifecycle management tools from end-users.
- Troubleshoot issues, determine root cause, and identify appropriate corrective actions for the trade lifecycle management tools.
- When necessary, manage production bridges to resolve significant systems and data issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related subject.
- 5 years business or systems analysis experience in global capital markets.
- Experience with CRD, Murex, or other OMS platforms for real-time portfolio analytics, P&L, and exposure is desirable.
- Strong experience with SQL is required.
- In-depth understanding of financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, swaps, options, futures, forwards, derivatives, and FX.
- Experience with advanced investment data concepts such as holdings, transactions, security master, analytics, performance, and attribution.
- Hands-on experience working directly with investment professionals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to delivering quality, professional work is absolutely essential for this position.
- Willingness and ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced, business-critical environment.
Top Requirements:
- Must have experience supporting investors - Proficient in the front and middle office functions of trade order management tools such as CRD or Aladdin. Also IBOR platforms such as Simcorp, Bloomberg AIM, Advent Geneva, Invest One. Prefer to see candidates that have experience working with investment tools, research tools, investment reporting, FactSet background, and the like. This person needs to know the basics of holdings, transactions, benchmarks, etc.
- Must have experience with Fixed Income and Derivatives. This is the primary area for Level 2 support. They will be working with the Portfolio Analysts to support them on any of their requests.
- Must have strong SQL skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this person will be working directly with the users.
- There is Production support on a rotation basis requirement - once every 2 months and the person is expected to check the tests that are running and escalate or fix if need be. The time commitment varies from 30 minutes to 3hrs when on-call.
