**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Interiors Specialist to join our team. As an Interior Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and refurbishing aircraft interior equipment and furnishings.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in interiors, with a focus on wood finish and soft goods. You will demonstrate expertise in breaking down cabinets, removing hardware, and applying stains and paints on new veneers.
You will also be responsible for stripping finishes using heat and scrapers, sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finish, and touching up defects in veneer.
In addition, you will have experience with spraying polyester base coats and urethane topcoats, as well as aircraft touch-up. A mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
