About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Interior Craftsman to join our team. As an Aircraft Interior Craftsman, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and refurbishing aircraft interior equipment and furnishings.
Responsibilities:
- Break down cabinets, remove hardware, and inlay components.
- Strip finish using heat and scrapers.
- Sand and prep raw veneer and hardwood for finishing, including touching up defects in veneer.
- Mix, match, and apply stains and paints on new veneers.
- Apply polyester base coats and urethane topcoats.
- Touch up aircraft finishes.
- Mask and unmask components for the finish process.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Communicate effectively in written and verbal form regarding individual and aircraft status.
