POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

You would be hired as a permanent Sogeti Consultant. An expert in field who will provide guidance and experience a variety of exciting projects, work within different workplaces with diverse teams and various industries.


All Sogeti Prospective Candidates Must:

Possess a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree from an accredited institution.

JOB SUMMARY

Technical Skills, Tools, Technologies, Certifications:

  • SQL
  • Azure Databricks

  • Azure/Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
  • Data engineering certifications required such as: MS Azure Fundamentals-AZ 900, Azure Data Fundamentals-DP 900, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Certified Data Engineer-Associate/Professional, Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)-DAMA International, MS Fabric certification, preferred (Fabrics Analytics Engineer Associate, Fabric Data Engineer Associate).


We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, team player with a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and abilities with:

  • 8 years of experience with advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • 3-5 years of the 8 years hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling and ER-Modeling.
  • Extensive knowledge of/experience with data integration, data quality, multi-dimensional design, ETL tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
  • Considering Exact, Transform and Load (ETL) and reporting challenges in designing data models.
  • Great numerical and analytical skills.
  • Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
  • Reviewing data model with both technical and business audiences, as well as data governance.
  • Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
  • Creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture.
  • Analyzing and organizing raw data.
  • Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.
  • Preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
  • Building algorithms and prototypes.
  • Combining raw information from different sources.
  • Exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
  • Creating data tools for analytics and data scientist team members.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders including: data, design, product and executive teams and assisting with data-related technical issues.
  • Working with stakeholders including: Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to support data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues.
  • Working with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in data systems.
  • Collaborating with data scientists and architects on several projects.
  • Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • Performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
