You would be hired as a permanent Sogeti Consultant. An expert in field who will provide guidance and experience a variety of exciting projects, work within different workplaces with diverse teams and various industries.

JOB SUMMARY
You will be responsible for designing, developing and overseeing the implementation of complex business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, leading the technical direction of projects, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and providing mentorship to other developers while ensuring solutions adhere to best practices and architecture standards within the Power Platform ecosystem.
We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, team player with a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and abilities with:
Solution Architecture: designing and architecting robust Power Apps solutions including canvas apps, model-driven apps, and custom connectors, considering scalability, performance and integration with other systems.
Requirements Gathering: collaborating with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical specifications, and define solution scope.
Development Leadership: leading and mentoring in building Power Apps applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices and project timelines.
Data Integration: managing data integration between Power Apps and external data sources using connectors, data flows, and Dataverse.
Technical Guidance: providing technical expertise and guidance on Power Apps development, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Code Review and Quality Assurance: conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability and adherence to architectural patterns.
Performance Monitoring: monitoring application performance, identify bottlenecks and implementing performance improvements.
Documentation: creating comprehensive technical documentation including design documents, user guides and deployment instructions.
Team Mentorship: mentoring and training junior developers on Power Apps development methodologies and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficient in Power Apps Development: canvas and model-driven app development, custom connectors, data integration and Power Automate workflows.
Power Platform Expertise: other Power Platform components like Power BI, Power Virtual Agents/Copilot Studio (preferred) and SharePoint.
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Agile methodologies and best practices for application development.
Database Knowledge: relational databases and data modeling concepts.
Strong Communication Skills: effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership Abilities: lead and mentor a team of developers.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Information Science and/or related field.
8 years of experience with Power Apps and Power Platform.
Expertise in designing and building large-scale, cloud-native enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
Deep expertise in developing Model-driven PowerApps and managed solutions.
Hands-on experience with business process workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
Dataverse and data aggregation solutions like SQL and Snowflake.
Large scale database design using Dataverse and Power Apps Data Flows.
CI/CD for Power Platform solutions.
Power Platform connectors and custom APIs.
JavaScript to customize model-driven Power Apps.
Analytics and reporting using Microsoft Power BI.
PowerApps Component Framework (PCF).
Experience developing canvas Power Apps.
Experience with Power Platform Pipelines.
Cloud-based messaging systems like Kafka.
Test automation tools for PowerApps and Power Automate.
Programming languages (Java, C or JavaScript).
Certifications preferred: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (Exam PL-900), Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (Exam PL-200), Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (Exam PL-400), Microsoft Certified: PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect Expert).
