Senior Technical Product Manager – AI/ML
Seattle, WA
We’re looking for an experienced Senior technical product manager with domain expertise in Machine Learning, and building production infrastructure at scale. This role will plan and execute on a strategy for accelerating development of reliable, scalable and responsible Machine Learning services with client. They should have both a deep technical background and a strong, customer-centric approach to product management, which they will have demonstrated through past projects.
Qualifications
- 4 years of prior technical product management experience with Machine learning in an infrastructure or platform team.
- 4-6 years of overall product management or other related experience.
- Technical expertise in Machine Learning, with experience in building libraries and tooling for both production and experimentation infrastructure at scale.
- Demonstrated experience owning product delivery of scalable and high availability machine learning models called with live data inputs.
- Experience with Python and the machine learning ecosystem in Python (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, LightGBM, PyTorch, SHAP).
- Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning.
- Experienced with crafting roadmaps that serve internal customers and be able to use a strong toolbox of tried and tested processes for ensuring effective communication and teamwork across organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Azure and Databricks (Unity Catalog, Feature Store, AutoML etc.) highly preferred.
- Experience with Generative AI is a PLUS, but not required.
Responsibilities:
This Technical Product Manager will collaborate with various Data Science and Data Product teams to gather insights and find opportunities for us to improve the ML Platform tools, MLOPS process and code libraries enabled by the MLOPS Platform team.
- Own the lifecycle of technical products and their projects, including ideation, building POC, drafting functional specifications, reviewing them with stakeholders, monitoring their build status, validating their implementation against specifications and analyzing their success post launch.
- Be able to clearly communicate changes to timelines, scope and impact of technical projects to the AI/ML product teams, and other key stakeholders
- Monitor and communicate analytically the success of product features launched
- Advocate for technical product innovation in our product roadmap
- Clearly articulate why technical product solutions are needed/implemented to a non-technical audience

Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
